Well I took Kayla's advice and started a blog (I hope). We (my family) have had the best time reading about her kids and what they can come up with. I can remember what that was like when my boys were little, which are now 18 ,14 and 11 yrs old. It seems like yesterday when we were nervous to take them places for fear of what they would tell people.
Once when my youngest, Lucas, was just starting
kindergarten and the principal picked me to show the new parents how to get to their
child's classroom since I have
already done this before with my other son, well anyway there must have been 8 - 10 other parents walking with me and a mom ask if this was my first child in school and I explained it wasn't and she told me it was hers but she had 2 more at home and we proceeded to talk about what freedom I was going to have, when my sweet angel spoke up all of a sudden and says" now her and daddy gets to watch all those nasty shows" well folks that hole
that's suppose to open and take you away from the
embarrassing moment, well it
doesn't so I had to stand their and explain to all (much to their enjoyment) that he was talking about news shows. We don't let them watch anything but Barney and Sesame Street and good things like that. Well my face was red but I survived that one.
Having a teenager in the house is a totally new experience also. When I was growing up, my mother would have tanned my hide if I was to call a boy but the girls that call my son, well all I can say is " Times have certainly changed". He is fixing to Graduate 8
th grade and is already planning his high school
schedule. We couldn't be more
proud of him. He wants to be a Marine Biologists when he graduates.
Now for my husband, well lets just say its never dull with my honey around. Kayla is sure making him miss Harold and Florida since posting her picture of him and the boys on the boat. I might can get a trip to see you and Aunt
Nellrena if you put more of the water and maybe a fish picture on here soon.
Well I guess
that's all
for now, Kayla says if she can do it anyone can make a blog. Kayla, you were right, it was easy. Keep the pictures and little boy sayings coming. They are the best.
